Lalibela-Wonders and Mystery

Nine hundred years ago, King Lalibela of Ethiopia constructed 11 churches out of basalt rock found in the north-western part of Ethiopia. To this day, modern architects are astonished by the magnitude and precision of these rock hewen buildings. Nine hundreds years later they are still intact with their sophisticated sewage system and bewildering mural paintings and sculptures.

The film further examines the mystery behind the design and architecture of the churches.
